1. Job Posting Notification - How do I find out about jobs when they are posted?

Interested candidates can be notified automatically via email each time a new position is open. Just visit this website, choose relevant categories (or all categories if you want to be notified about all jobs as they are posted), click Subscribe, and you are all set!

2. How do I apply for a job?

All applications are to be submitted online. If you do not have access to a computer, the Churchill County Library is open six days per week (including Saturdays and some evenings). The Library has computers you may use to apply for county jobs. Please review our How to Apply page for more information. How to Apply

3. I have applied for previous jobs with Churchill County. Do I need to submit another application for a new opening?

You must notify us about each job for which you wish to be considered. This is done by applying online and submitting your application through the online portal. (See the "How to Apply" link for further information about applying.) If a new position opens that you are interested in, re-visit the application portal and submit any supplemental information that is requested for that new opening.

4. Can I submit an application if there are no current openings?

Churchill County's policy is to only accept applications for currently advertised positions. Please apply when you see a position open that you are interested in. 5. Can I mail my application and, if so, will it be considered on-time if it is post-marked by the deadline?

No. Applications must be submitted through the online portal by the posted deadline. Mailed applications will not be considered.
