1. How do I sign up for a program?

Registration for Parks & Recreation programs is online at: www.churchillcountyrecreation.org. You may also call the Parks and Recreation office at (775) 423-7733 for additional information.

3. Is camping available at the Churchill County Fairgrounds?

Throughout the year, the campground at Churchill County Facilities, Parks and Recreation, will be rented to various events. During these events, no spaces will be available to visitors outside events. Please call (775)423-7733 to check on availability.

You are welcome to camp at the fairgrounds for a maximum of 14 days. Costs vary for "dry camping" and RV camping with water and/or electric hookups depending on the time of the year. Tent camping is not allowed.

Camping is only allowed in designated camping areas.

4. Are there jobs available with the Parks and Recreation Department?

The Parks and Recreation office will hire maintenance seasonal employees early each year. Lifeguards and camp counselor positions are hired when needed. All current openings can be viewed at: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/Churchill. Applications are accepted online at that link.

5. Can I rent a building at the Churchill County 3C Event Complex (formerly the fairgrounds) for an event?

The Parks and Recreation Office handles the renting of the facilities. You can rent the arenas, the Barrel House or Dry Gulch building and/or the covered pavilion to host an event. Contact the Parks and Recreation office at (775) 423-7733 for pricing and availability.
