At its meeting on Sept. 20, the Churchill County Commissioners recognized nine county employees for their combined 110 years of service to this community. Honored were:
Five years of service:
- Priscilla Baker, District Attorney’s Office
- Sean Hessey, Facilities & Grounds
- Whitney Brown, Assessor’s Office
10 years of service:
- Whitney Aboytes, District Attorney’s Office
- Leonard Bogdanowicz, Court Services
15 years of service:
- Michael Mathews, Sheriff’s Office
20 years of service:
- Marie Henson, Building Department
- Toby West, Road Department
- Shannon Ernst, Social Services
Each quarter, the Commissioners present plaques and lapel pins to county employees for every five years of service to our local community.
The next employee recognition event will be at the second Commissioners’ meeting in December.
