Vaccination, Testing Schedule for Week of April 19

Churchill County announces its next dates for those 18 and older to receive the free Moderna vaccine at the Churchill County Public Health Drive-Thru site off Miner’s Road, just south of the county fairgrounds. Please follow the signage and enter the fairgrounds via Miner’s Road off Hwy 95 South. 

If you or someone you know is homebound, or cannot access the vaccine site for whatever reason, please call (775)423-6695, option 2 to discuss alternative options.

First and Second Doses
(Drive-through, no appointment needed; 2nd doses are guaranteed so come by anytime from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

  • April 21 starting at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • April 22 starting at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Please refer to your vaccination card to see when you are eligible for your second vaccine dose. You are able to get your 2nd dose anytime after its due date, but are not eligible to get it before the due date, per the CDC.

Forms

Please print and fill out the “COVID-19 Questionnaire” and “Pre-Vaccination Checklist” forms and bring them with you to the vaccine site. The forms will also be available at the vaccine site.

COVID Testing

Free COVID testing is available at the Churchill County Public Health Drive-Through site on Miner’s Road off Highway 95 south on April 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rapid test will be available on these dates from 3-4 p.m. only.
